I hope this email finds you well. I'm writing to request to lessen my working hours as I'm thinking of attending a course which is highly related to my career and I believe can improve my skills in the related areas. In order to be able to take part in this online course, I need to take Mondays and Wednesdays from 8 to 11 am off for a period of 6 months. I'm completely aware of the importance of my role and responsibilities in the company and I can assure you that despite the short term inconvenience that my absence might cause, it will benefit both myself and the company it the long term. I would strongly appreciate your agreement and permission on this matter. Furthermore, I'm open to having a meeting to discuss that in person. thanks in advance for your help and understanding.
